Join us for another Tech x FAW group discussion! This month, we will be discussing the problem of aeration in aquaculture.
The topic
Dissolved oxygen (DO) is important for lots of aquatic species. In a pond-based farming system, DO generally needs to be actively maintained.
DO is often found to be too low, especially in pond-based systems commonly found in low and middle income countries (LMICs).
In this meet-up we will discuss the state of the problem and whether technological improvements might be an interesting lever for this problem.
