How to Build a Credible Marketing & Comms Plan for Your EA Community Project Grant

If you are applying for a grant to support an EA community project and are unsure how to approach communications planning, this post offers a practical starting point.

It includes:

• A simple 8-step planning framework
• Budget benchmarks for different levels of ambition
• A downloadable template and example plan
• Tips on setting realistic goals, both short- and long-term

The guide is aimed at community builders and existing grantees. It is especially relevant if communications is either central to your project (such as events or content) or a support function to help it scale.

Comments and feedback welcome. I am also happy to review draft plans if that would be useful.

Thanks @gergo for reviewing this piece of work and providing valuable feedback!
