Where is the best place to find small grants for work connected to EA issues and longtermism, particularly for doctoral researchers?

Context:

I'm a doctoral researcher and I have two promising papers to write directly connected to issues at the intersection of EA issues and longtermism. Neither of these papers are directly connected to my research. So, I can either support myself by doing generic work alongside doctoral research (tutoring, etc.)  or I can support myself by working on research which might contribute much more good in the world. Are there small grants for cases like these?
