My name is Daria and I am the fundraiser of the feminist project Poputchitsa.

We’ve launched a small donation campaign to support four grassroots feminist initiatives across Russia — providing legal aid, emergency contraception, and safe spaces for women* in difficult regions.
You may donate here

💜 All funds go to:

  • Feminityv (Kaliningrad)
  • YA-SVOBODA (Ulan-Ude)
  • Emergency Contraception Fund / “Shorokhi Krovi”
  • FemKyzlar (Kazan)

Your support helps them continue their work, even in the most difficult conditions.

📌 Why this matters: Many of these groups operate with no formal support. Outside of big cities, they are often the only place where women* can find help and solidarity.

🔹 Current campaign (in Russian):👉The page is still in process, start on 30th of May

We created this donation page so that non-Russian-speaking friends and allies can also join and support this campaign.

How will the beneficiary receive the funds?

Funds will be distributed directly and equally to the four grassroots initiatives by the Poputchitsa team. Each group is trusted, transparent, and active in their local communities.

💛 Any amount makes a difference. Thank you for standing with us.

Hey Daria! 3 questions from me:

  1. Why do you think this is the most effective thing people can donate funds to right now? (Why do you think it’s more effective than these charities, for example: https://www.givewell.org/charities/top-charities)
  2. What data can you provide to back this up? (Ideally numerical data/stats)
  3. How much funding would each of the organisations linked be able to use effectively?

(These are the sort of questions that readers of this forum tend to care about most, so the fact that your post doesn’t address them much is probably some/most of the reason it’s been downvoted, in case you were confused)
