Hello!
For those who may have missed our introductory post, we’ve recently launched a new podcast, How I Learned to Love Shrimp, which showcases promising ways to help animals and build the animal advocacy movement.
We’ve already released 16 episodes, covering topics and guests such as:
- Amanda Hungerford on Open Philanthropy's funding for farmed animal welfare
- Josh Balk on using shareholder activism to win change from the world’s largest food companies
- Andrés Jimenez Zorilla on Shrimp Welfare Project and why we should care about shrimp
- Ines Kostic on getting involved in political parties to help animals
- David Coman-Hidy on welfare vs abolitionism and promising strategies to help animals
And lots more!
We aim to cover interesting and exciting ideas within animal advocacy and plan to release bi-weekly, hour-long interviews with people working on these projects. We’ve got plenty of more exciting episodes in the pipeline so do subscribe if you want to be regularly notified of new episodes.
You can check out the episodes across all major providers (e.g. Spotify, Google Podcasts & Apple Podcasts) and access them on our website.
Please let us know what you think, give us guest recommendations and share with anyone who you think could be interested to hear. You can contact us via Twitter, our website or email at hello@howilearnedtoloveshrimp.com. Enjoy!
