  1. I think Climate Change,AI and biotechnology and Biweapon posses  a bigger risk. The reason is because most of the problems are human made and we think that maybe the risks wont be that higher but in the long run we get ffected big time

    1. For AI, we are not 100% sure of what it is capable of.

    2. We might be aware of how to mitigate climate crises but we are waiting for the problem instead of solving the root cause.

  2. I will do more research and  reading on the same.

I can give back to the community by organizing charity events where we donate foods, clothes , sanitary pproducts and medicine

I have no criticism so far but my concerns are related with the topics and reading materials. Some of the reading materials are too detailed , maybe some of them should be summarized.

Part 2

At first i had a problem understanding radical empathy ( the animal welfare part specifically) but after doing some readings i have started to get a clear understanding.

The artificial intelligence ideas  were surprising being the first time I was encountering the topic.  But after the readings and session it now makes a lot of sense and I think that it is important to learn  and research more about AI ,its advantages, disadvantages and how it will shape the future or destroy it.

The idea that AI poses a bigger risk than Climate Change doesnt sit well with me. I feel like for AI we can be able to understand and know how to mitigate the risks but for climate change, it is more  challenging because it affects all aspects of human well being, their health , it affects animals and plants, destroys places and so forth. Climate change should be  given the first priority  and we  should be worried about it because we are seeing the climate crises happening and for such climate crises we better work on ways of  preventing the crises rather than waiting for the crises to happen then start responding.

We all want our kids, people around us or our future grandkids and great grandkids to remember us for some good deed we did instead of bad deeds. Having said this, i think  a good ancestor  should be one who is part of advocacy againist vices such as racism, women and men exploitation, terrosism among others. He or she should be in the frontline fighting against things that harm humanity and ensuring that the ultimate goal is survival.

A good ancestor should also be open minded, open to the changing society, open to learning and open to listening to people around him or her. Lastly, a good ancestor should be involved in giving back to the community hence impacting a number of people positively.

Dear friend,

I am writing from the future

I know that being a leader in your era comes with difficult choices to make and that is why you have so many slaves working for you and women of color being raped and mistreated. But I want you to imagine if you were in the same shoes as they are in what could have happened and how could you have felt? Do you think it could have been a good feeling?’

I understand that you are doing this because of the society and what they perceive to be right but things will change. Every human being is equal and has the same rights and should be treated well. It might be difficult to choose the right path but things will get better.

I am looking forward to write more letters but for now, please remember that being a kind and good person always has a positive impact on others.

Thank You!

Part A

Malaria Consortium: 10,000 cases of malaria prevented, estimated 17 lives saved

Nets to prevent malaria: 4000 cases of malaria prevented,  10 lives saved

Part B.

With only 1,000 dollars, I would donate to  the Malaria consortium because I will be working on preventing the disease before it occurs and since the vaccine has a long term impact.
