Welcome to our Effective Animal Advocacy Meetup! Whether you're a newcomer or you've joined us before, let's get to know each other (better) and explore the most thought-provoking questions facing the animal advocacy world today.
This time, we'll explore the question of how strong the evidence is behind some of the animal advocacy movement's most prominent interventions. We'll begin by watching a short video summarising the key ideas from the EA Forum post Animal Welfare Has an Evidence Problem. Afterwards, we'll split into small groups, each exploring one of the intervention areas discussed in the article. Finally, we'll come back together to share our insights and discuss what they might mean for the future of effective animal advocacy. No preparation is required, but you're welcome to read the article beforehand if you'd like to dive deeper.
