GiveWell Hiring: Senior Philanthropy Advisor

We're hiring a Senior Philanthropy Advisor to serve as a partner to GiveWell's major donors, deepening their trust in our research and increasing their impact. This role will help major philanthropists scale their giving to high-impact causes, and help GiveWell direct significantly more funding to some of the world's most cost-effective, evidence-backed programs that are saving and improving lives. 

Our Senior Philanthropy Advisors:

• Build long-term, trust-based relationships with seven-figure-plus donors, helping them give more effectively and increase their impact over time
• Lead high-impact fundraising projects, from donor events to playbooks and systems that help our philanthropy function scale
• Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership and mentor to fellow fundraisers, modeling excellent relationship management and codifying our best practices

We're looking for candidates with experience managing or advising six- and seven-figure donors, ultra high-net-worth clients, or similarly sophisticated stakeholders. You’ll need to bring exceptional relationship management skills, an advisory mindset, and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and credibly.

Details:

• Remote-friendly (US only) 
• $220,000 (NYC / SF Bay Area) | $200,000 (all other US locations)
• Fully funded health coverage, 4 weeks PTO, 16 weeks parental leave, 403(b) with 5% employer contribution
