About AIM
Ambitious Impact (AIM), formerly Charity Entrepreneurship, launches organizations that cost-effectively improve human and animal lives at scale.
Since 2018, we’ve incubated over 50 charities, now estimated to improve the lives of more than 75 million people and 1 billion animals worldwide. Our alumni have been backed by GiveWell, Open Philanthropy, the Gates Foundation, and Animal Charity Evaluators.
We believe that talented, dedicated entrepreneurs can solve the world’s biggest problems using evidence, innovation, and a focus on cost-effective impact.
Our Charity Entrepreneurship Incubation Program currently launches ~10 nonprofits per year. In 2026, we aim to double this to 20. Our biggest bottleneck? Finding the best people and the best ideas.
That’s where you come in.
Roles: Research Managers & Recruitment Manager
We’re hiring across two pivotal teams:
- Research Managers – Identify and evaluate the most promising, evidence-based ideas for new high-impact charities.
- Recruitment Manager – Find and select the next generation of entrepreneurs who will launch those organizations.
Both roles sit at the heart of AIM’s mission: turning great research and exceptional talent into real-world impact. Within months, your work could directly shape which organizations get launched, funded, and scaled.

About the Research Roles
Our research team finds and tests the most promising charity ideas that turn into real organizations within months, such as with LEEP, Shrimp Welfare Project, and Fortify Health.
We’re hiring two Research Managers:
- One primarily focused on human well-being
- One primarily focused on animal welfare
Responsibilities include:
- Lead rigorous, applied research on potential interventions—from early-stage brainstorming to in-depth reports using our research methodology.
- Conduct cost-effectiveness analyses, literature reviews, expert interviews, and quantitative modeling.
- Evaluate scalability, neglectedness, and implementation feasibility.
- Contribute to methodological improvements and decision frameworks.
What we’re looking for in our research managers:
We’re seeking individuals who are analytical, curious, and mission-driven, able to combine intellectual depth with practical judgment. You might thrive in this role if you:
- Have the ability to do high-quality research, analysis, or evidence evaluation at a pace.
- Are skilled at quantitative modeling, literature review, or cost-effectiveness analysis.
- Think clearly under uncertainty and make reasoned, transparent tradeoffs.
- Have familiarity with global health, animal welfare, policy, or other high-impact cause areas.
- Communicate clearly in writing and enjoy working collaboratively on complex reasoning problems.
About the Recruitment Role
Our recruitment team identifies and selects the entrepreneurs who found AIM-incubated charities. This team determines our greatest constraint: founder quality.
We’re seeking a Recruitment Manager to run and improve our end-to-end process—from outreach to selection.
Responsibilities include:
- Design and execute multi-channel campaigns to reach exceptional applicants.
- Review applications, assess test tasks, and conduct candidate interviews.
- Build partnerships and represent AIM at conferences and events.
- Develop and evaluate scalable systems and data-driven improvements to recruitment and selection.
For an exceptional candidate, there may be an accelerated path to Director of Recruitment as our current Director transitions out in 2026.
What we’re looking for in our research managers:
We’re seeking someone strategic, people-focused, and fast-moving, who thrives on identifying exceptional talent. You might be a great fit if you:
- Are excited by evaluating people’s skills, motivations, and potential.
- Communicate with warmth, precision, and clarity, both written and in person.
- Are curious about what drives high performance in founders.
- Are comfortable balancing intuition with data in complex judgment calls.
- Have experience or interest in marketing, outreach, or recruitment (experience helpful but not required).
- Are adaptable and eager to take ownership of improving systems at pace.
What We Offer
- Tangible impact: Your work will shape the creation of new high-impact charities.
- Collaborative team: Flat hierarchy, low bureaucracy, and a supportive culture of ~20 people.
- Flexible, balanced work: 30 days paid leave, flexible hours, and remote-friendly options.
- Personal development: Dedicated time and budget for personal development.
- Community: Annual team retreat, impact-focused office hub in London, and global network of AIM alumni.
- Relocation & visa support provided if needed.
