Animals in AI-transformed futures

In the near future, there may be large-scale interactions between transformative artificial intelligence and non-human animals. This could have a significant effect on the latter's welfare. However, these interactions, or whether they’re even likely, remain a question mark.

This mini-sequence concludes a few hundred hours of exploring this question, through the FutureKind AI Fellowship, the AI, Animals, and Digital Minds Conference, and discussions. These are uncertain takeaways and next steps that could hopefully advance our understanding of whether this is an area worth exploring, and what should be done if that is the case.
