According to this, there are only ~50,000 reported cases of CSA in the UK, while there are 800,000 cases (1/20 of 5-19 year olds). This gives us a current reporting rate closer to 6%.
I still think it works for some causes. I met people who thought it wasn't just bad, but evil to do wild animal welfare stuff. I'm not sure why, maybe their introduction to the idea was about predator euthanasia or something.
I was wondering why StrongerMinds focuses on women. Is it because women especially suffer from depression, or maybe helping women has better downstream effects? Another reason?
