Here's some of what I've been up to since the last thread:

• I created and launched Shop for Charity, a way to earn SCI 5% of your Amazon spending in commission, at no cost to you.

• I researched and wrote a complete guide to leaving money to charity in your will (and writing a will in general)

• I built an interactive webpage showing how to donate to effective charities tax-deductibly in any country

• I researched several 'unique opportunities' for moving money to charity

• I set up the basic financial and tax-receipting infrastructure for Charity Science

• I worked on creating ecards/tokens to represent donations through Charity Science's peer-to-peer Christmas fundraisers

• I wrote an accessible introductions to deworming

• I arranged some large matching donations to GiveWell charities, for Charity Science fundraising

• I did initial research into corporate fundraising

I finally got to asking my partner if she would be OK with me sending 10% of my salary to charity (we have shared finances, so my money is hers too) and she said yes right away. Will start doing that from my December paycheck on. I'm finally an EA! In other news, I made a payment to CSER on Thursday which after tax and employer gift matching is sorted out should be worth £6500; I've been setting the money aside all year while kicking my employer and the University of Cambridge slowly along the gift matching progress.
