What are the best summer opportunities for (freshman and sophomore) college students in CS/ML interested in technical alignment or AI policy?
It depends on their level of past engagement and experience, but I would start by checking aisafety.training (for training and research programs). Internships and job opportunities are more diffuse, but a good place to start is the 80,000 hours job board.
