So awesome. As someone who works in poor communities and have been doing this for the past 17 years. This article is actually exciting, and I would like to get involved in this work to provide an input and insight.
What I have noticed with cash transfers is that they address the immediate needs, and removes the suffering. This helps the vulnerable families and individuals a lot. However, ending extreme poverty means empowering families to a level where they can create their own income and sustain themselves. In the meantime, the cash transfer is a life saver and a great way to go. For scaling without increasing staffing , means developing systems to support the growth. We can assist scale into Zambia and other countries in Southern Africa.

This is an interesting article and very interesting research. As someone running a Nonprofit at micro level in Malawi, Zambia and South Africa , and seeing the challenges of extreme poverty. This research will go a long way in finding sustainable solutions both at micro and micro level.
