I'm a PhD student in the Department of Economics at the University of Texas at Austin and I expect to graduate in 2026. My emphasis is development economics, and I have further interests in economic demography and animal welfare economics.

To clarify, no, GiveWell has not indicated that its classification as a 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) organization is no longer accurate!
