These simple few lines "Billions of humans in this world. And so many lives burdened and stunted by poverty, illness, trauma, war. Billions. Imagine if you could hear the sound of it all at once." made me cry deep, silent tears for the pain so many go through. This is why I am an effective altruist. I can't feel all that pain, but even getting a tiny glimpse of it has inspired me to do everything I can to help solve it.
