VELIKOVSKY of NEWCASTLE
Dr JT Velikovsky PhD is: the Information Scientist/Communication Scientist/Creativity Scientist who discovered the structure & function of the unit of culture (the fractal HOLON/parton), and is thus the Founder of the meta-meta-Science of Evolutionary Culturology, in 2016. He received his Ph.D. in Communication Science from The Newcastle School of Creativity.
His PhD dissertation, Communication, Creativity and Consilience in Cinema: A comparative study of the top 20 Return-on-Investment (RoI) Movies and the Doxa of Screenwriting’ (free online at his PhD weblog, StoryAlity), examined cultural evolution & creativity within the economics of the domain of Cinema (movies), and resulted in the 02016 scientific discovery of the fractal HOLON/parton structure & function of all units of culture. Namely, discovery of the fractal HOLON/parton structure, function, & 3 Laws of all culture & biology. Velikovsky of Newcastle is also a member of the Cultural Evolution Society, AppEEL, the Philosophy of Science Association, and Prosocial Commons. Regarding 80K Hours, he is also a million-selling, multi-award-winning transmedia writer (videogames, movies, television, books, songs, comics), filmmaker, songwriter, and actor. He has been a judge for the Australian Writers Guild and Australian Directors Guild, and serves as an Associate Editor on the editorial board of the International Journal of Art, Culture, Design, and Technology (IJACDT) and a reviewer for International Journal of Cognitive Informatics and Natural Intelligence (IJCINI).
