I was just watching a Mr Beast video with my 8 year old budding altruist and I was thinking that EA should collaborate with him. I saw he’s got ‘Beast Philanthropy’ channel going so it doesn’t feel like a stretch. He’s certainly mastered Youtube communications and has the command of a lot of youth attention.

I actually came to the forum to post this but I searched first and found this thread.

Agree that this is worth a shot, would be Huge if it worked. But it seems like Mr Beast and Mark Rober might be selecting causes to avoid controversy, which would make it hard to get EA through. Both of their platforms are mainly built on mass appeal. Planting trees and cleaning up the oceans are extremely uncontroversial causes - nobody is out there arguing that they do net harm. This is not the case with EA.

That said, if any of you folks went to high school with Mark Rober or something, I would still be extremely excited to try this. I have a 3rd or 4th degree connection to him, but that seems a bit too far to do much of anything.

it is hard to think of what is 'videoable/showy' while while also effective. it seems to be different objectives unfortunately, but maybe this works out better in the long run as that's how they get their audience

One way to do that is through organizations such as NeuroTalent Works who partner with employers with attracting and hiring neurodivergent individuals in an inclusive manner. Please consider approaching your DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) representatives in HR to ask about autistic inclusion. SAP is a leader in this space

Another approach would be to support Autistic Self-Advocacy.
