Like most EA-aligned orgs, at The Unjournal we want to measure our impact, looking for indicators of successes and failures in pursuit of our Theory of Change (logic model here).
This is necessary for our continued operation: we have a limited runway on our current grants. EA-aligned funders, reasonably, want to see evidence of impact such as signs that
- Our evaluation work positively impacted funding and policy decisions
- Our evaluations led to substantial improvements in impactful research
Our presence meaningfully improved the research ecosystem and its potential for impact
... or at least to see tangible progress in these directions.
We also want feedback on our processes, approaches, focus, etc., and how we may want to adjust to increase engagement and boost our impact.
If you have engaged with The Unjournal in any way, or thought about engaging but were deterred, we want your feedback.
We're particularly reaching out to "stakeholder" organizations and people involved with funding, policy, research management, etc. If you think you're potentially in this category, could you take 5 minutes to complete this survey?
(To show we value your time, we'll randomly choose 1 in 10 respondents from relevant organizations to award $50.)
Of course we're also happy to get feedback in other formats, or to take a meeting.
Thanks!
