Michael Huemer (born 27 December 1969) is an American philosopher. He is a professor of philosophy at the University of Colorado, Boulder and the author of several books, including The Problem of Political Authority: An Examination of the Right to Coerce and the Duty to Obey,^[1] Dialogues Concerning Vegetarianism: The Ethics of Eating Meat,^[2] Approaching Infinity ,^[3] and Knowledge, Reality, and Value: A Mostly Common Sense Guide to Philosophy .^[4]
