How is the list of candidates created? Can we suggest organisations? Can we see which organisations are already on the list?

Hello ceselder, I will pitch Bern. I'm a software engineer and I have lived and worked in Bern for many years. I recommend Bern because salaries are high in Switzerland and Bern has an exceptional ratio of tech jobs per inhabitant, because many governmental and government related agencies are located there and at the same time the city is quite small (because all the foreigners want to go to Zurich). Salaries are a bit lower than in Zurich but cost of living is much lower than in Zurich. It's less vibrant than Zurich, the EA group is much smaller, fewer start ups and all of that but I think it's a great place to start a career in software engineering. After my studies I did a one year internship and then earned 87'000 CHF pre tax at my first job. And in addition to all of that it's a beautifull city with a high quality of living. Very impressive, that you achieved all of this just with volunteers. Very cool! 

I'm curious why you didn't get funding so far. Can you elaborate? And can you explain why people should fund you anyways? 

Do you know to which cause areas the funds you raise go to? 

I very much agree with this analysis. It would be great to have some more numbers from different organisations with their multiplier and their distribution of funds between cause areas.
