I supposed much of this exceptional grant had to do with DOGE/Musk/Trump slashing USAID budget and killing hundreds of the world poorest and not to do with anthropic or other AI related investment. Am I wrong?
On thinking about the "world got weird because of AI but we are all alive" scenario, I would consider withdrawing from savings to finish paying for the house.
If AI causes something to go terribly wrong on financial systems(lets supose, all banking systems are now easy to hack with AI or something with similar consequences) seems good to not have to prove in legal battles that you actually pais for that % of your own house.

Yes, "wrong people" can mean a wide range of things. Maybe there is this "pioneer nostalgia" at play when wanting to select only people with deep engagement with EA principles — thanks for bringing that up. However, things can get much worse than just attracting people not very engaged. Even attracting people who will treat the whole thing as "just another job" may turn out ok. What really worries me is that you can have real scammers lured in by this "37–100 billion dollar billboard".
I am very happy to see how much ImpulsoGov has grown. Do you have any interest in directing EA Brazil community members to job roles, internships or volunteer work?

I see now. Here in Brazil it works differently. You only own the house after paying full for the bank, before that the bank is the proprietary.
