Rewarding connections make the most joy in my life - the (diminishing) beauty of nature with it´s pure air, with non-human animals no matter the species (of which rescue is my favourite one), with humans no matter if they are my friends, patients or just more random or even one-time acquaintances.Â
I love to sing with others but not of my own - again, it`s the connection!  I just started learning how to play piano in order to accompany myself whilst singing the first song I´ve ever written: Compassion over Carnism.Â
Most free time I spend by reading thoroughly scientific articles and sharing info on my website Kasasenkootut. There`s a section Also in English ones with few pdfs.Â
Thank you for the enlightning article. I must admit, I just took a glimpse of 85 comments below, without noticing if there was brought up a different, truly humane option.Â
Humane AKA compassionate and kind option wouldn`t increase animal experimentation. It would simultaneously decrease the need of electrocution and suffocation of both shrimps and chickens.
I know for many EA members this option is hard to swallow, but imagining that we were now talking about kittens and puppies, might make this idea more digestable. What if we used resources to campaigns by which consumers would became fully aware, what they are paying for when they purchase these products, and then we`d offer them an option to choose animal-free food?
This is what ASAP (Allied Scholars for Animal Protection) now does. ASAP is a non-commercial organization founded by Faraz Harsini few years back. On the video he tells his story and the idea and mission of ASAP. I hope Give Well will take this organization into consideration soon.Â
I`m grateful to you, who read this text (or/and watch the vid attached) and give it a thought. Thank you!Â
