Hi All!

I've always been slightly anxious about posting here, because I see so many valuable posts with novel and impressive ideas that imposter syndrome naturally creeps in. But recent posts and comments have encouraged me to contribute to the community, little and unimpressive though my contributions may be.

I work with Faunalytics as a Research Communicator, with the goal of making often-technical research more accessible to wider audiences. One of my in-progress projects with them is an accessible and simple explainer of the Moral Weight Project (MWP), which I found to be an outstanding piece of research. I would love to get it out to a wider audience, and Faunalytics' platform is well-suited for that.

The project consists of two parts:

1. A simple explainer: A clear, jargon-free walkthrough of the MWP - its motivations, methodology, findings, and implications - aimed at non-specialist readers.
2. An expanded explainer: This adds depth to each section of the simple version for readers who want to go further, serving as a bridge between the basic overview and more technical sources like Bob Fischer’s book and the MWP itself.

I am already incredibly thankful to Vasco Grilo and Bob Fischer for carefully reviewing these two explainers. I found their comments - especially their replies to each other - incredibly helpful. 

I would therefore like to open the project to feedback from the rest of the community. I welcome feedback regarding any aspects of the project that could be improved - such as formatting, details, or important/useful references to include -  though I ask the balance between comprehensive nuance and accessibility for the intended audience to be kept in mind at all times. Aside from improvements, I also welcome any positive feedback, as its nice to feel that you're providing some value!

I attach below he google docs for each of the drafts below - they will obviously be fully referenced and look much more readable once Faunalytics do their editorial magic on it before publication.
