Did anyone thought about applying to OpenAI's grant program for "experiments in setting up a democratic process for deciding what rules AI systems should follow"? Sounds to me like an important opportunity to help animals, which can also be included, this way or the other, in such democratic processes (BTW Sam Altman, OpenAI's CEO, is an ideological vegetarian). The deadline is tomorrow!
"Democratic inputs to AI: Our nonprofit organization, OpenAI, Inc., is launching a program to award ten $100,000 grants to fund experiments in setting up a democratic process for deciding what rules AI systems should follow, within the bounds defined by the law. Deadline: 9:00 PM PST June 24th, 2023"
