About
Millions die from preventable or treatable diseases, and biosecurity threats may strike at any time. Medical students and doctors have huge potential to help solve these problems, but rarely choose the most impactful career paths.
The Hi-Med Career Planning Course (CPC) guides medical students and doctors to find the career path that maximizes their impact and that aligns with their values.
- The CPC is a 6-week small-group program for medics who want to think deeply and strategically about how to make a meaningful difference with their careers.
- Designed to help you gain clarity on an impactful long-term career direction, with practical frameworks for decision-making under uncertainty.
- You'll meet weekly online in small groups for 1.5 hours, guided by a facilitator. You'll also need some time for worksheet exercises in between the weekly sessions.
- The course will start during the week of November 24.
High Impact Medicine is a non-profit organization guiding a global community of medical students and doctors to do more good through high-impact careers and giving, to improve global health and reduce biosecurity risks.
Who should apply?
We welcome applications from medical students and doctors anywhere, who are worried about the big health problems in the world, want to do more to help address these problems, but are unsure of their best next steps.
