We’re hiring Research Analysts to join GiveWell's Commons team, supporting our research that directs hundreds of millions of dollars to save and improve lives around the world.
As a Research Analyst, you will:
- Quality check publications and cost-effectiveness models that inform our grantmaking decisions
- Write public summaries explaining the reasoning behind our grants
- Conduct desk research on global health interventions
- Support research across multiple focus areas (malaria, water quality, vaccinations, etc.)
- Temporarily embed with specialized research teams for deeper investigations
- Explore ways to use AI tools to increase our team's efficiency and impact
We're looking for detail-oriented, analytical thinkers who communicate clearly and are passionate about maximizing global well-being.
Details:
- Remote-friendly (US, UK, Canada)
- $108,800 (NYC/SF Bay Area) | $98,600 (all other US locations)
- Fully funded health coverage, 4 weeks PTO, 16 weeks parental leave, stipends for wellness and professional development
The ideal candidate will be conscientious, curious, and able to translate complex technical content into clear summaries. Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees in relevant fields are a plus for those interested in a faster growth trajectory.
