The Program Manager will be responsible for our flagship Career Guidance Program and help shape how it develops. You will support doctors and medical students from around the world, who engage with our Hi-Med Career Planning Course and 1:1 advisory calls.
High Impact Medicine (Hi-Med) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to guide a global community of doctors and medical students to do more good through high impact careers and giving. We believe that medical professionals are highly skilled and motivated but have huge untapped potential to save more lives and reduce future threats to health. The number of applications to our programs has grown each year since 2023, with significant growth in 2026. Our strategic focus is on providing excellent career and effective giving guidance, building our Information Hub, and developing new programs or adapting our existing ones to meet the needs of specific segments of our audience.
The primary responsibilities include:
Secondary priorities (approximately 30% of time commitment) include maintenance of our Information Hub and our Hi-Med community management system.
We are seeking someone with several years of relevant program management experience for this 0.6 - 1.0 FTE position. Previous medical training is preferred, but we will also consider others with training in public health, global health, or related fields. The position is remote in a location within 6 hours of Eastern Time.
