Last year we published a free to use website template for AI Safety groups to use here. The template was rather popular, and we had since shared it with many organizations, including AIS Dublin, AIS Polska, UBC AIS, and a number of others.
Inspired by this post on group branding we’ve worked with our friends at AI Safety Global Society (@Ghaith A) to make additional modifications, creating more of an institutional design of our previous template that was more technical-leaning. We recommend that groups who would like to appeal to people with a policy background and adjacent fields to use this. You can check out the template here.
If you would like to get a copy of this template to make your own website, feel free to get in touch! You can email us at kambar.orazbekov@gmail.com, and we’ll share it with you.
A quick note on the platform:
The websites are hosted on Google Sites. While Google Sites is less flexible than custom-developed websites or platforms like Squarespace, it offers a huge advantage in simplicity. You don’t need any specialized skills to operate it, and the best part is that it can be hosted directly on Google’s servers for free!
If you’re interested, just reach out, and we’d be happy to help!
Cheers!
