Bio
Hi everyone! I'm a Berlin-based philosopher turned EA startup operations manager with a passion for entrepreneurship. Since early 2021, I work at the German and Swiss EA fundraising and regranting organization Effektiv Spenden (effektiv-spenden.org), where we focus on promoting effective giving to a general audience, advising donors (in collaboration with Munich-based HNWI philanthropy consultancy Legacies Now; legacies-now.de), and providing fiscal sponsorship to high-impact charities around the world. In addition, we run the Berlin EA Coworking Space TEAMWORK (teamwork-berlin.org), which serves as a hub for the EA community. Come visit! :)

Major update on our Defending Democracy Fund
The beta phase wrapped up on July 30, 2025. Until then, the fund focused on initiatives strengthening democracy in Germany — but it now supports the most promising pro-democracy projects worldwide.
This new global grantmaking is guided by research from Power for Democracies — the first international charity evaluator for democracy. Its first research results will be published in November 2025.
