AI is expected to create an unprecedented wave of philanthropic capital, and the advisors who serve typical UHNWIs are not well suited to meet the needs of this new cohort of philanthropists. Most advisors simply have radically different priorities, and this is reflected in everything from the services they provide to how their organizations are structured to what they earn fees for (or don’t).
Sparrow House is a multifamily office built to close that gap. We combine wealth management and philanthropy in one platform, alongside services that help our clients manage the complexity of their lives while maintaining focus on their work. The integration of these services under one roof, across clients who share a worldview and priorities, unlocks things clients could not get otherwise: shared talent, shared learning, and access to giving and investment opportunities that are only possible at scale.
We're hiring a Senior Project Manager to own the client experience for our first cohort. This is the core day-to-day client-facing role for Sparrow House. It requires holding the full context of each relationship, being the client’s primary point of contact, and coordinating with internal and external teams to ensure complex and high-stakes work is done to an extremely high standard of execution. Since we're early, the systems you build this year will be integrated into the firm's operating layer as we grow.
Important: Although this job is titled and compensated as a senior role, we are interested in people with any level of experience who are extraordinary across the dimensions we outline below.
Who we're looking for:
- Someone with extraordinary attention to detail and project management skills – you must be able to handle many complex threads at once without dropping any, and to spot problems before anyone else
- An excellent communicator who can explain complex concepts clearly
- Someone who learns unfamiliar domains fast and takes feedback well – high-agency and low-ego
- Someone who is culturally fluent in the kinds of topics discussed on this forum, with high emotional intelligence
- Someone who is excited about Sparrow House’s mission, not just the job
Compensation: $290–325k base, plus a share of firm profits. We cover 100% of health, dental and vision premiums, along with other top-of-market benefits.
Location: In-person (Bay Area), hybrid, and remote are all on the table – we have a preference for people based in the Bay, but it’s not an absolute requirement.
