I'm delighted to announce Fulcrum, a new initiative from Entrepreneurs First and BlueDot for entrepreneurial people who wish to use their careers to focus on AI safety through a startup nonprofit or business.
Fulcrum starts with an intense 7-day remote program designed to help you get feedback, increase your ambition, and accelerate your progress. We kick off our weekly sprints each Monday.
Successful finishers will be considered for grants from BlueDot and both Fulcrum fellowships and investments from Entrepreneurs First.

What is the Fulcrum challenge?
The Fulcrum Challenge is an exceptionally challenging 7-day remote experience designed to accelerate your entrepreneurial career. It is hosted on the EF-Start platform. You will design an ambitious agenda for your week, and then spend 7 days delivering on it. You will be in a cohort of other top future founders who will support and challenge you through your week.
What will I do during the challenge?
Through the week, you will work on your agenda individually. We have the following group touch-points:
In addition, we are interested in how you are able to support and challenge others, and identify exceptional talent. You should allocate roughly 3h over the week to giving feedback to your peers on our platform. You will also be invited to a Discord community for realtime collaboration.

Who is the Fulcrum Challenge designed for?
The majority of Starters are students or early career professionals who have not yet formed a nonprofit or company, and have not yet identified a cofounder.
If you are already working on something, or have cofounders already, you should feel free to participate individually.
I am working/studying and can't commit as much time as I'd like
We want to see what you're capable of in the time that you have. If you have other obligations, you should be upfront about these and work around them.
