I want to start by noting that I am amazed and somewhat in awe of what's been accomplished by the EA animal welfare movement. I am enthusiastically supportive of all campaigns that make living and dying conditions less bad for farmed animals.
I worked on such campaigns for almost 20 years, and I'm proud of that work.

I don't engage on the forum very much, although I've been reading the posts for more than a year and resonate pretty strongly with the core philosophy of EA. I wasn't around for the FTX collapse, but how do you all deal with times when half of Twitter, including the president, is punching down on us?
I generally don't engage with social media (beyond LR/EA forum, and I'm not sure I'd endorse my use of those). Maybe you should use Twitter less?
Or if you're getting some value out of Twitter, you could consider if there are alternative ways for you to get that value without getting the vitriol.
