Here is a list of some ideas I am thinking about:
- Nasal swab metagenomics for sentinel studies in resource-limited settings, since we do not have structured wastewater systems. The problem, however, is that after reaching out to NAO, they do not have funds to support this outside their study area. Getting funds to obtain sequencing kits becomes a challenge.
- Air metagenomics for sentinel studies, which is similar to the nasal swab approach. While I am yet to get a research support group, I believe this study too is important.
- Far-UVC evaluation in resource-limited settings. While much study has been done in advanced countries, little has been done to test field-ready Far-UVC in real-world settings in a resource-limited environment.
I will be glad if you can help refine these ideas or if you would be interested in joining an application for a funding group, which will be interesting.
